La Teyssière is a classical Provencal Mas which sleeps nine, a farmhouse with a history dating back to the Roman era, the one-time centre of a now defunct working farm and a roadhouse in days gone by when La Teyssière stood on the then principal "way" between Avignon and Marseilles. Now an airy, tranquil, comfortable home in the hills between the Petit Luberon and Grand Luberon Mountains, it lies in it's own peaceful eleven acres of almond trees, truffle oaks and gentle rolling garrigue set in open countryside. The house has been sympathetically renovated to a high standard and is spacious and well equipped. Outside, the lawned gardens are on two levels. The lower, with a large south-facing terrace covered in a tonelle bearing fruiting vines, is ideal for sun bathing, al fresco eating and generally lazing in the perfumed Provencal air. The upper, which is gated to meet the current pool safety regulations and affords discreet protection for families with children, has a large swimming pool (17m x 6m) surrounded by lawns, a well-stocked shrub garden and old farm buildings. Beyond is a young fruit orchard. There is ample pool and garden furniture and a Weber barbecue. Ground Floor:
